Commander Brennan’s journey to this pivotal moment has been marked by two decades of unwavering service in the U.S. Coast Guard. Reflecting on her remarkable tenure, she shared, “Today marks 20 years of service in the U.S. Coast Guard. They tell you that 20 will go faster than you can imagine, and it\u2019s true! As the head of MSU Port Canaveral, Commander Brennan leads a dedicated team of 29 active duty, reserve, and civilian personnel, tasked with critical missions including port security, marine safety, search and rescue, waterways management, and environmental response. With an area of responsibility spanning 857 miles of navigable waterways throughout central Florida and its east coast, Commander Brennan’s leadership ensures the safety and security of vital maritime infrastructure and operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
