MSC Cruises opens sales for 2025 round-the-world cruise

MSC Cruises opens sales for MSC World Cruise 2025. The round-the-world cruise arrives with a completely new itinerary, aboard MSC Magnifica. Travellers will be able to embark on this once-in-a-lifetime voyage from four European ports: Civitavecchia (Rome), Genoa, Marseille and Barcelona on 4, 5, 6 and 7 January 2025 respectively.

The 116-night voyage around the world will visit 50 destinations in 21 different countries, with seven overnight stays and 22 destinations that have never before appeared on MSC World Cruise’s itinerary. One of the differential points of the 2025 edition is the possibility of discovering Australasia with 19 days of sailing along the South and West coast of Australia. This new itinerary will take cruise passengers to five continents, cross three of the largest oceans in the world and sail more than 30,000 nautical miles, where they can enjoy different cosmopolitan cities, historical places and expand horizons with new flavors, traditions, cultures and communities.

Following in the wake of MSC World Cruise 2025

The journey begins with cities and ports in Italy, France and Spain, before setting sail for Casablanca in Morocco. During the first week of travel, passengers will spend the first few days at sea, followed by a day trip to Cape Verde’s capital, Mindelo.

After crossing the Atlantic Ocean, passengers will spend ten days exploring South America, with overnight stays in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), Buenos Aires (Argentina) and Valparaíso (Chile), as well as a visit to the Malvinas Islands, with their breathtaking views, and the southernmost point of the continent: Ushuaia, in Argentina.

The ship will then tour the South Pacific visiting tropical islands for almost two weeks, such as Easter Island (Chile), Moorea (French Polynesia) and Aitutaki and Rarotonga in the Cook Islands.

Later, the discovery of New Zealand and Australia will begin, starting with the northern islands of New Zealand. In eight days, the cities of Auckland, Tauranga, Napier, Christchurch and Dunedin will be visited, followed by a cruise through the Milford Sound Fjord, south of New Zealand.

In the second month of sailing, MSC Magnifica will call at Sydney (Australia) and begin 19 days of sailing along the south and west coasts of the country: Eden, Melbourne, Adelaide (Penneshaw), Albany, Busselton and the Margaret River wine region; Perth and Broome.

Upon reaching the tropical climate of Asia, the ship will touch port in Benoa, in Bali (Indonesia). MSC Magnifica will then sail to Singapore. To complete the Asian itinerary, passengers will visit Port Klang and Penang in Malaysia, followed by Phuket Island in Thailand.

During the journey across the Indian Ocean, passengers will enjoy a visit to Sri Lanka’s capital, Colombo. You will then be greeted by the port of Aqaba, Jordan. Then, Sham El-Sheikh on the Red Sea; the ancient sites of Luxor (from the port of Safaga); and transit through the Suez Canal and Alexandria, from where it is possible to visit Cairo and the pyramids of Giza.

To complete this once-in-a-lifetime itinerary, MSC Magnifica will sail back to Europe, visiting four iconic cities in Italy, putting the finishing touch to a voyage full of discovery in Genoa.
